About NTEC Accreditation

The Diploma in Nutritional Therapy is accredited by NTEC, allowing our graduates to apply for fast-track to the professional register held by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is supported by the Department of Health.

NTEC is the Professional Standards Council for Nutritional Therapy. NTEC’s mission is to establish, uphold and advance the standards of qualifications, competence and conduct of those who practise nutritional therapy as a profession.

CNHC Registration

BCNH Nutritional Therapy graduates are eligible to apply for fast-track entry to the professional register held by the CNHC.

The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) was established with government support to regulate various complementary therapies, including Nutritional Therapy.

The key purpose of the CNHC is to protect the public.

The Department of Health has recommended that, where the CNHC registers the complementary therapy in question, members of the public should consult with someone who is CNHC registered.
